Yrs I built every thing. It was hard by my self But I got-it-done I bought the windows for J and L supply in Cross Plains. I look for a coupel months before I orderd them. I did not want any noise. We get a lot of wind I have around $300 in the stand for every thing

DO you have any directions/plans for the stand? Looking to build my own but i can't find plans anywhere.

-If I buy any more waterfowl hunting stuff this year I'll be eating cat food and crackers for dinner.

No plans ciscoot just made as I went. started off with the blind and welded to stand The box is 6'X5' with the porch it is 9'X 5'. layed the ladder out and welded steeps at 7" each step. for the windows i welded 4" bracing at the top and bottem to screw the window to. To get the hight of the window I set in a chair and held a gun at the hight it would be comfortable with. for me it is 40" Iam 6'2". last covered with steel.

i'm west of Ozona just a little bit... i was wondering cuz it looked a lot like my lease... how are the deer in your area? they're nice sized in ours, and a good number of them, too... LOTS of rain this year, so it should be good.

LOL 7mag no we don't lease from Patrick. We lease from a man that has 30,000 acres ranch. We only have 3000. He has 3 ranches. this ranch is the small one (go figure) this is our 5 year on this lease. We have sean some wall hangers just not at the right time. The lease is south of Ozona on FM 1973
Steve we have several nice deer on our place. some parts you can see 15 to 20 deer at one outing. We are game mang so I am carfull about pulling the trigger.

The truth be told I built the stand for my dad. He gos down the end of December. He is 76 and can got climb a ladder any more. Heck I dont like climing a ladder myself. I look around at stands and windows for about 4 mounths. If your stand is on 67 from Colman to Barnhart I have look at it with glasses. Trying to find whate I like and what I do not. This is what I came up with. You cant see the door but it is a 36" steal door with steal fram. It wount swell. It also has a heater and a office chaires in it.
