1st off about 1/2 mile down the road from the house still in town a good size doe jumped out in front of my truck and I hit her and sent her flying out of the way she got up and ran away do not know if she was hurt or not. I pulled over and saw nothing wrong with my truck but a small plate under it was bent. got back on my way got to where I was going hunt hogs, sheds, and snakes. when I got there I got out to "water the grass" (I had 2 pots of coffee before I left) no guns ready or on me yet and a good size hog charged me I jumped on the hood of my truck and he ran into my tire then ran away. I got my guns ready and out to go hunting and for about 3 hrs saw nothing, granted due to my knee I only could look in small areas at a time then drive up. I saw nothing the whole time I was out, I gave up and was going home on the way out of the gate I saw a hog running back down the road I was just at. To top it all off I got home and my wife's laptop went down and she has been on my most of the day just now got it back. How many of y'all had days like mine?

I had a pretty bad one sunday, i actually got some good sleep and headed out to the ranch at the planned time. i get in the blind and realize i forgot my wallet, then a few minutes later i see a hog about 20 yrds away and realize my rifle is missing its bolt! certainly a day i'd wish to forget, but we got through it. First time i've had any of this happen. but i bet u i won't do it again.

You gotta watch the deer there on 1478. They are worse in town I believe. I see them at all times of the day between 6th street and road to the golf course.
