 New arrows - is more expensive better?

Hey all,
I'm looking into getting some new arrows and they seem to have three price ranges. I'm curious to whether the more expensive arrows are worth the extra money? From what I can tell the difference is tolerances in terms of both weight and straightness but would the entry level arrows from most manufactures be more than adequate for hunting and target shooting (NOT 3-D or competition)

From what I have read the low tolerance arrows(expensive)are mainly for the competition shoots, not your average shooter. The average shooter can not tell the differenct in the tolerances. I have tried the high dollar ones and I tried the cheaper ones, and I can't really tell. Hope this helps you.

The middle of the road aren't much more expensive at $84 a dozen like the beman ICS hunters. Not sure you will find much difference in 002 tolerance and 0015 etc..

I've been shooting for a very long time, and I can't shoot well enough to establish the difference. I could care less if an arrow is .005 or less. I look at the weight, and the spine stiffness and try to match it as best I can. I have both light shafts and heavy shafts. Some shafts have become my favorite, but the tolerance has little to do with it.

They all kill if you hit the sweet spot and they all break if you hit the wrong spot. Get what fits your set up and your pocket book. I can help your pocket book also. I will be the cheapest in town. Just tell me what you need and I ship it to your door.

It depends what you need them for. Some arrows are better for penetration like easton full metal jackets, which are good for penatration. The carbon express mayham and maxima arrows have weight forward technology and buff tuff. The easton fmj's also have hidden insert technology which helps make a smoother flight, but they cost about $135 per dozen.
