Did some guiding this weekend at the big ranch I work on. Caught a 9 there, the guys had a blast! One told me it was the most fun he'd ever had in a day. Saw close to 200 hogs in about a 2 mile strech, they're thick out there!






Tagged another sow with a tracking tag also.




Took another group from Mo. yesterday here around the house. Caught 4. They wanted one for the wall, well the last one will make a darn nice mount!

Nice hogs, I have never had one with teeth like that or even seen pics from our cameras. Do they just break off or do some hogs just not have them?

Those are awesome cutters! I have been told that boars break their cutters off while fighting for dominance, so if u cut them ( castrate) they r no longer worried about females and so the no longer fight. In my experience this has been true anyway. It always seems that if we catch and bar a boar the next time we catch him he is a lot bigger and has a lot bigger cutters!
