Good Luck and be safe!

That is the life... when I grow up, I want to be just like you.
Hunting for five days, chasing hogs, and... taking the woman of your dreams with you. My congratulations go out to you.
Good luck getting some hogs!! Be safe and bring back some pics.

Well on the first night (friday) we got in put a few rounds down range before dark and couldn't get the 270 to sight in fast enough. So I borrowed a 308 and my buddy borrowed a 243 and we headed out the the stand. ( not expecting much as we had been shooting about 15 mins before this) we both got there took a whiz off in the bushes got, into our seats and lit a smoke, as I put mine out I start to hear some grunts and snorts. I kid you not 5 mins after getting into the stand about 30 or 40 hogs ran right past us and to the feeder. Got my first kill using one of those green kill lights. 1 shot and he drt, unfortunately I caught the gut sack so the buzzards get to eat this one.

it got real windy last night and we didnt see anything, but heres pic of the first kill of 2011.

exit wound 165gr hand loads

but you could have saved the straps and possibly the loins and let the critters get the rest?
