Who's all ready for the Dove Opener (Sept 1)

Huntin' license & applicable stamps/permits... check
Gun cleaned, oiled, choke tube installed & cased... check
Dove decoys cleaned & packed... check
Mojo Doves... wings, batteries & poles made... check
Ammo (Remington "Heavy Dove" 1 1/8 oz #7 1/2's)... check
Ice chest... just gotta make a stop at the store... check
2 way radio... check
Map book & "googled" directions... check
BBQ grill, lighter fluid & charcol... check
4 Wheeler... check
Motel reservations... check
Several pardnuh's that are goin'... check
Scoutin' reports... check
Toilet paper... 1 roll of Northern double quilted... check

I've got everything "stacked & packed" & ready to load.

"Zulu Hour" on "Day Bravo" can't get here fast enough!!!

Oh yea, picked up the mojo Friday, more decoys, and batteries

Only have a 40 minute drive opening day, and from then on out, its 10 minutes to the dove fields

I really think for me this is going to be the longest week of the year!!! cause dove season is the opener to other seasons!! I'm checked and READY TO GO...

One more to add to the list, make sure the mag plug (if applicable) is installed. Buddy of mine got the smack down put on him for that one. I think it cost him about $800.
Kinda leaves a bad taste in yo mouth!

I got one of those 10’ x 10’ camo pop-up canopies at Academy, $99, comes with in a nice carry case, really compact!

Instead of using all that toxic spray crap, you could go for the natural method. Fire up a big fat stogie. That should keep everything away.
