I just called Rafter's Feed Store in Sonora and they currently have 1000 lb alfalfa round bales for $120. I appreciate ya'll's discussion, very informative and some great ideas....Thanks

You can buy alfalfa at the Eldorado feed store for about $12 per 70 lb bale. We hunt a little south of Eldorado and the deer absolutely tear it up.
