Ok, I decided to try it with the wind...left the house it was 45 and drizzling, about 10 mph wind...get to the lake, it was 35 degrees, still spitting, wind had picked up a little more, got to the spot and set up by 6:45, had stopped spitting, but was blowing like crazy, big water had whitecaps, don't know what the temp was, knew it was cold cause the condensation was freezing on my barell, when ingot in the truck, said 28 degrees. mr and mrs greenhead showed up about 10 mins after let, dropped them both, drake has a triple curl, he is huge. had a group of ringnecks circle a couple of times and buzz off. Not a lot of birds, what birds that were there were hauling arse to somewhere else.
