What do you guys use as a gun rest when using a popup blind? I've always just put my rifle on top of the open window fabric but just seems like there might be a better option that doesn't cost a fortune.
Anything?

^ That's what I use, a Primos Trigger Stick. I also use it for a walking stick. (that was until I got a walkin' stick) I got an orig Mono stick. I love it.

Anyone use one of those Bog Pods w/that attachment that straps the rifle to it? I thought that would be great for a kid or someone in a wheelchair.

Primos Trigger Sticks have that. exoticbob, do you think those legs could spread wide enough and fast enough in a pop-up? I'm not that familiar with 'em. I also use mine in my box blind for holding up the back of my rifle. It makes for a dang steady shot. In my pop-up I use 'em for Turkey. They work awesome for me.

I built a small shooting bench in ours. It's probably 2'x3' on the top and about 32" to 36" tall...I lay my gun on it with the barrell resting on the window. If something pops out, all I gotta do is roll it over and shoot...works for me (plus I can sit my binoculars and coffee on it )

I take a 2x2x8 pine and cut into 4 ft pieces. Take a 3 inch drywall screw and screw them together 4 inches from the top. Open up and you now have shooting sticks. Cost about $2.

When I use my pop up for rifle huntin, it's my son that is doing the shooting. I set up a metal saw horse that I bought few yrs back at one of those tool sales. It doesn't take up much room and is just about as long as one of the walls. And the legs fold up inside and has a handle for easy carrying. Think I bought it for around 5 bucks. A lot cheaper than any sticks.
