Do the mojo mallards work in Texas. I'm thinking about getting some and would like to know if y'all have any opinions on 'em.

YES....they work. Im going to try and use my Mojo Dove durring teal season. I think that the wings run alot faster and will creat alot of flash.

JMO...like anything I believe they are a attractant BUT later in the season I think the ducks get a little wary of them along with other things..I like the remote ones that can be turned off when needed..

They've worked good for me when I've used them no matter what part of the season.

Stony, no kidding, you never use a mojo? 1st, I will say yes they work, but if you are getting limits w/o them, why bother with the darn things, more crap to carry etc... I tend to use mine all season tho cuz I need every advantage I can muster. End of season the ducks flare a lot, and you always wonder if it is the mojo, and I have even tested putting the mojo out and pulling it back in etc..to see the difference, and I think end of season it still helps a bit. In fact, I did a statistical analysis and came up with the these results:

Beginning of Season: For every 4 ducks mojo brings in, it scares off 1

End Of Season: For every 4 ducks mojo brings in, it scares off 3, advantage mojo.

I really just pulled those numbers out my butt, but I bet they are close.

The only thing with the mojo is it's bulky so if I'm going on a hunt where I have to hike a ways the mojo won't go on the trip with me.

I prefer Baby Mojo to mojo mallard - cheaper, faster wing beat and seems to me to just be a better look from a distance

They are great but if its sunny take a pair of brown panty hose and put it on the wings it makes it look more realistic and the flash from the white part of the wings doesn't spook ducks as bad when its sunny

Try the baby mojo Marcstar, they are not so bulky and priced more reasonably.
