so i noticed there was some rust on my 870 tonite, i've shot around 400 rd thru it, and the only thing i been using to clean it is breakfree clp and powder blast with bore snake, but anyways, so i tried out the ballistol tonite, and it stinks like hell, the whole house smells like s**t and its been almost an hr since i am done with it and it still stinks really bad, but it works really good, i was surprised to see how much dirty stuff was still left in the gun from those breakfree stuff, it cleaned up the stainless steel bolt part really good and leaves it all nice and shinny now, so i am a true believer in it now, after i finish the rest of those breakfree stuff, this will be the only cleaner i use...

i wonder if those come in liquid form, much easiler to control then spray from can...

Good stuff, but I use it outside or at least in the Garage so I do not have that smell in the house/

ballistol is great. wish i knew where to find it around here. the oasis outback in uvalde is the only place i have seen it.

i got mine online, my next project is to stock up on ammo for my 9mm and 40sw, then i am going to get a case of that stinky ballistol, they really should make it smell better like those clp stuff...
