Has anyone out there used Cmere deer, deer attractant? I have watched several shows on the Outdoor Channel where they have used it and of course it works great on TV.

If anyone has personally used it, how did it work and did you use powder or liquid and how did you apply it to work best?

I am thinking of trying some during bow season and wanted to see if anyone else had used it.

I tried it last year in an area where I regularly saw deer. I saw one deer stop and look at it but she didn't eat any. A couple days later it was gone so someting ate it.

I'VE USED C'MERE DEER AND FEEDER FIRE AND ONE OF THE OTHER GUYS USED C'MORE BUCKS.... I COULDN'T TELL THAT ANY OF IT HELPED AT ALL.
SO FAR THE BEST THING I'VE EVER DONE IS TO FEED YEAR ROUND, THAT SEEMS TO HELP ALOT!

I'VE ALSO PUT OUT PEANUT BUTTER ( THE COONS LOVE THAT) AND I POURED SOME VANILLA EXTRACT OUT IN A FEW PLACES, WHEN DEER PASS IT THEY STOP AND SMELL.

That stuff is expensive...Deer love salt...I was at my dads and he was filling the pool with salt...to make the chlorine...I am going to lowes and going to buy a 40lb bag 4.99 of that salt and put that on a stump...We will see??? I thought it would be better than wasting 20-30$ for Cmere deer!

Rick sounds like you played my song before. Don't waste your money. Salt & mineral blocks are good and they don't cost that much. JMO. If you bringing in the doe's with the corn, that is all the attactant you need. Doe's are the best attractant.

I have found all of the attractants a waste of money! Do not seem to work in Texas where I hunt.

I SECOND THE SALT THING... WE BURY IT IN A LOW WET SPOT NEAR THE FEEDER THEN POUR 5 GAL OF WATER ON IT.
I NEVER SAW A DEER COME TO IT BUT THERE ARE ALWAYS TRACKS THERE

Dump some cheap cherry koolaide or Jello in the feeder with the corn.

What about the salt with hogs? Do they go to it more than the deer?

SO, FULLY UNDERSTAND THAT SALT IS NOT GOOD FOR THE DEER-JUST LIKE TOO MUCH SALT IS NOT GOOD FOR ANY MAMMAL -WHILE YOU MAY BE ATTRACTING THE DEER, YOU ARE ALSO NOT HELPING THEM AT ALL AND MORE THAN LIKELY HURTING THE HERD-

I used it once and had zero results. Sprayed the liquid on some plants that were supposed to be consumed. Never happened. Tried it on two different properties I hunt. No experience with the powder but the liquid was a bust. Sorry Hank Parker but its just a big marketing gimick in my book.

plain old ordinary corn........all we use!!

HUMMMM EVERYWHERE I'VE EVER HUNTED THAT HAD HORSES OR COWS HAD PLENTY OF SALT BLOCKS JUST SETTING OUT... IT NEVER SEEMED TO HURT THE HORSES, COWS OR DEER.

I went on a hunt in west texas a few years ago where it was 10pts or better.I was sitting in an elevated box stand overlooking a few cornfields on the left and a little sparsely wooded valley between me and the river.As the sun started breaking day I could see several deer laying around the few trees in the valley.As the sun rose the deer all got up and walked away down the valley.There was a tree line down there that ran towards the cornfield.I started seeing deer jump into the corner of that field.They would stay right there and jump back and forth over the fence into the woods and then back into the field.Sometimes I could see as many as 15 deer in that corner at a time.No bucks.When the ranch manager picked me up and asked if I'd seen anything I told him my story.He said that He'd scattered out a sack of deercane in that corner.I would say it worked pretty darn good.I've never seen deer act like that before.

I have tried them all. What a waste of money.

C'mere Deer and Buck Grub is nothing more than rice bran...and deer will eat rice bran heavily and it's cheap at the grain mills. Salt is a natural mineral that all animals require and it is perfectly safe for deer...they will not eat more than needed at any one time. Hogs are a different story though...too much salt will kill hogs since they don't have sweat glands and are unable to displace the fluid content.

ive had good luck using horse and mule feed when i 1st start a feeder or when i want to pull in a few extra deer. 1 50lb bag at 7 bucks lass me the whole season. ive had deer come in with noses high in the air sniffing the molasses and anise. do not put it in your feeder.

rock salt and molassas dropped in a hole and covered with dirt (mix the dirt in with it) works for me. They like to dig for it.

I thought even the "Big Daddy Rabbits are eating it". Man am I tired of that commercial... I read the instructions when I was at Cabelas a month or so ago. They recommend using one gallon ($24.99) per 50lbs of corn. Wow that could get expensive. I agree, corn works just fine for me.

I guess I am the only one that has had success with C'mere deer and Buck Grub. We used Buck Grub religiously in west tx and it worked great. Last year while on a bow hunt in Llano I put out some C'mere deer and Buck Grub (trying to see which one they preferred) at my buddies tripod. He shot an 8 pt that stopped at the C'mere deer to eat. Had some does and small bucks come to buck grub at mine, seems to work good in those areas. Buck Grub worked good for me last year in East Tx as well. I have hunted in South Texas with minimal success though, might be a regional thing due to lack of nutrients...anyways thats my .02
