I look at kids and what excites them.....toys, games, playgrounds ect. Those are children. We/us are adult men/women. The similarities are the same though, I think. We just use bigger and louder toys, bigger games and the leases are the playgrounds. Do I still get as excited as when I was 5 yrs old, I do!!! So I'm still a kid right??? you??

DAMN SKIPPY........but you forgot how much more expensive it is to play as a "older" kid..... Aint that the truth! Growing up in Michigan November 15th (opening day of gun deer season) was a holiday. To this day I still get excited the night before even if I am not hunting. This year I went and hunted with Don K on November 15th for a whitetail in honor of Michigans opening day.

my husband is the biggest kid that i know of around here. and we have 5 grand kids and 5 kids and i should know. i also work at McDonald's with a bunch of teenagers.

From what I have learned, you never really grow up, you just get older. I have been around some of my dad's friends that are in their 50-60's and they still act the same way as I do in my 20's.

From what I have learned, you never really grow up, you just get older. I have been around some of my dad's friends that are in their 50-60's and they still act the same way as I do in my 20's. That is because we think feel like we are in our 20's, but have 30+ years of experience on us.

Yeah Mr. Clean the differnce is that on the wedding day you did not know what the future held and heading to the lease you know what is ahead  . Both days look better now I bet to you.

Wow.....it's all in the eye of the beholder! I get tickled watching the grandkids with new stuff, but I really get a kick out of watching the younger generations discover something that those of us who are over 60 discovered 40 years ago. We thought it was new then and they think it's new now! Having said all that - I can get just as excited about a new gadget as the next kid. Wife has 6...2 daughters, 3 dogs, and ME.
