I remember pre-deer-season several people were talking about getting a hunt together for coyotes or what-not after season. Is it too early to start talking about this?

I would love to get a group together for coyote hunting, and some good BS'ing sessions around a fire pit.

I'm all for bringing the steaks, and some adult beverages for after the hunt.. Anybody have a coyote/varmint problem they need rectified?

Ya, I was picturing that in my mind after I posted. Recipe for disaster. Started thinking of Rudy S2K's post about the guy shooting the beefmaster calf thinking it was a deer. A short guy like me stalking pigs might accidentally get shot.

With all the people that would show up to this it wouldn't take long to use up 15k acres. Not to mention the animals would be mind EFFED with foxpros every 500 yards crying their eyes out.

Years ago (maybe 2) there was an online predator tournament on the THF. It lasted about a month. They got a nice foxpro donated and all you had to do was take a picture with your kill with some sort of gesture to know it was legit. maggieTX and her husband and I believe BIL were some of the originators of the first one.

If this thing gets kicked off I think those of us on this thread should get first shot at it.
