Wondering what a few people here think? Our property is roughly 2400 acres in both Schleicher and Tom Green counties. Good size place lots of cover, oaks, long draws, no cattle, and lots of birds. We have had a couple oufitters come to us about the turkey hunting (we don't hunt them at all) but never said a price.. What is a fair amount to ask as a landowner? Would really rather trade it off for some sort of hunt but I doubt that will be an option. Any feedback would help...

I'd say $2-$2.50/acre for turkey season. Just a logical guess though, if they sold 5 $100/day 3 day hunts per wk, they would clear $12,000.00. And they will prob sell the hunts for more than that.

gonna hide out in the bottoms, where i hunted deer and turkey, i know that swamp like the back of my hand-Chris Knight
