Does anyone around here sell piegons in the Fort Worth, Denton, Gainsville, or Sherman area? I like them because you can hobble them and use them over and over. Need to start tunning the brittany up for dove and quail season.

Thanks guys.

You might be able to find some pigeons but not sure if you can find any piegons,I think they are on the endangered list.Just messing with you.Try some of your old feed store or you can even get a trap and trap some on your own. Also you can go to first monday this weekend in Canton and get them for less than 3 a piece.

Bare Bottom Farms 972-843-8052, ask for Dennis or Pat. Let me know what they say, I got their number from a feed store a last year, and I called them once, just never went and got any. Think they are north of Dallas, in that area.

Let me know if they help, if they don't, I will stop giving out their number.

Get a large fish net and attach it to a 20 foot pole and go under an over pass and catch them at night. That is how I get all of mine.

Are they just out right now, or are they out of that business?

Try feed stores and also pets stores, ask for the manager, they may have some contacts. They are pretty easy to trap, you can buy a trap, I just never wanted to mess with that. Good luck!

billymac, does that really work? I built a trap, but I am afraid when I put it out, someone will steal it. I did catch one of my pen raised quail in it when he wouldn't go into the recall pen.

ok I have done some calling around...
Russells Feed Store only carries dove. $11
Red Barn Feed in Kennedale carry pigeons. $3-5
But all of Red Barns pigeons are at First Monday in Canton. He said he should have more in by Monday.
