My gf just got me a foxpro spitfire call, and I love it. I've already called in a yote with it since I got it last week. I really like bow hunting so my question is does anybody use their predator calls and use a bow? Or is it just too hard to get a predator in bow range? I've got 2 weeks til I go back to school so I was gonna do a lot of calling, just wondered if I should bring the bow any or just stick with the gun and long range. Any advice is appreciated

I dont have a preadator call yet but I've been hunting them for a goat farmer with my bow, its pretty hard. All of my hunting has been at night so thats only compounded my problem. Just be ready is all I can say, they move in fast and will pick up your movements in a heart beat.

i've had a few animals come within bow range... once i had my bow, a bobcat stepped out at 25 yards and looked straight at me, couldn't pull back on him. he ran off. never got a kill but its quite fun and deffinately challenging

We have shot quite a few with a bow, but we always have somebody backing up with a shotgun or rifle. It is an absolute rush to get one with a bow, I highly recommend it! Here is one we put on Youtube.
