I am shooting 100gr Remington and I'll be darn if I can hit paper. Shot 15 times anywhere from 50yrds to 12 yrds. I shot twice from 12yds to hit paper but 12" apart. I'm guessing it doesn't like the Remington Rounds. Does all Marlin products have problems with Remington shells.

Thanks, Jigfish

The weak call it obsession, the strong call it dedication!!!

That might be the understatement of the year. roflmao

Sounds more like bad scope/mounts to me. Make sure everything is tight and possibly try some different ammo. If accuracy doesn't improve, get ahold of the manufacturer ASAP.

Good luck.

Something is real loose.....12 yds shooting should not produce a 12" pattern...

Is the nut behind the stock tight or loose? whistle

Action screws, scope mounts, rings and or scope. confused2

i would start from scratch, reset the mounts, etc with loctite..
then boresite before the range.

my xl7 loves the 100 gr corelokt. will shoot under 1" at 100 yds..

Stuff my dad said in the deer blind

"I can dive deeper and come up drier"
"did you do that?"

definately sounds like something is loose. the same thing happened to my dad with his 257 and when he grabbed his scope he could wiggle it. so definately check all mounts and screws

I agree with what has already been said - something has to be lose or your scope reticle si broken...

I have a Marlin 25-06 as well, adn even with the Core-locs it is right about 1 inch at 100 yrs -

Once you get it zeroed in try different ammo - mine likes teh Honady the best.
