What's the legal shooting times for duck hunting. I've never really web on an afternoon hunt and hear you quit shooting right at sun down. Is this right?

one half hour before sunrise to sunset. so for instance today, legal shooting times are 7:03 to 5:32 since sunrise is at 7:33 and sunset is 5:32 in decatur, tx. Times vary all over the state..The following link will allow you to make a calendar for the month with all sunrise and sunset times...as well as add in twilight hours and moonrise/moonset if you desire. http://sunrisesunset.com/usa/

I thought it was 30 min before sunrise and 30 min after sunset. Was the legal shooting time. I think that's right for deer but for ducks it's sunset

If u can still see them then shoot that'll work as long as the GW doesn't show up... if it was 30 min after I have some spots I could limit out on everytime, they come in like clock work 5 mins past legal

If u can still see them then shoot That approach could be very costly. It is a good idea to know when you are hunting legally if you are hunting public.

What's the legal shooting times for duck hunting. I've never really web on an afternoon hunt and hear you quit shooting right at sun down. Is this right? 1 hour after sun set, and your daily limit starts over at sun set. Best thing you can do is look up the law in the book do not anyones word when it comes to the law. People crack me up

If u can still see them then shoot yeah, thats definitely not true. It is still light enough to see at sunset. In fact civil twilight is about 30 minutes past sunset. You can certainly see well enough to shoot 15 to 20 minutes or more past sunset. from page 5 of the texas waterfowl digest......HUnTinG HoUrs one-half hour before sunrise to sunset, except dove during special white-winged dove area season, and light goose conservation order.

I just wait until I hear other people shooting if it's still a little dark out and there's ducks in the spread.
