so i got couple boxes of remington umc 223, 55gr mc, i am trying to figure out what kind of bullet it is, the MC, metal case, does that mean fmj or does that mean the case is metal??? the casing does not look nor feel like metal, but brass to me... i am trying to figure out if i can bring that to garland shooting range or not...

Garland range rules hollow point, plastic tipped or lead exposed at the tip of the bullet for rifle ammo. I do not believe your MC would be allowed.

It is not a Steel Core M855 62gr Penetrator
