Well I finally got the deer I have been after since the second week of October. He gave me the slip several times either staying out of range or coming in just after my pins got dim. Then about a month ago he came in, gave me a shot and I pushed it right into the bone in his shoulder.. I thought for sure the deer was lost after 2 days searching.. I decided my season was over as far as bucks were concerned (only take one trophy most years) and last sunday headed to the same stand to take a doe.. Well this guy comes strolling right back in scar on his shoulder and not even a limp, and gave me a perfect broadside shot at 20yds that I made no mistake on this time!!
