I have spent 20 days on my lease since the opening of gun season and I have seen 5 deer, non of which were shooters. Worst I have seen in the 6 years we have been on our lease in Young Co.

Just got back from Young county this afternoon. I saw one buck that was about 12" wide. That was all I saw in 2 1/2 days. Been a bad year for us.

I spent 4 days last weekend on our lease and saw nothing, no deer, no hogs, no squirrels, no rabits, no turkey, nothing. We have always been over run with turkeys and even they have disappeared this year.
If I can't get a doe of spike in the late season we will be eating a lot of hamburger helper next year. mad

I'VE BEEN HUNTING OFF MILLER BEND ROAD FOR 15 YEARS. THIS IS MY WORST SEASON. FEEDERS ARE AT ONE SECOND AND STILL SOME CORN LEFT. 2,000ACRES-11 HUNTERS- 3BUCKS-3DOE. STILL HAVING FUN. THAT'S WHY THEY CALL IT HUNTING-NOT-KILLING.

Hunt off 1287 8 mils south of town, been there 6 yrs. This is the worst we have ever had. One barely 13 killed by novice and one hog. Hunted every weekend in Nov. Haven't been back. Corn piled under feeders and feeding once a day. Will go back for a couple of days next week

I hunt just down the road across from you. Off 3109 across 209 from miller bend. It has only been a bad season because I have not been much and same goes for my hunt partners. My last trip recently it was a full moon, clear sky, and 80 degrees. They are moving at night. But on our game cameras we are seeing several good quality bucks with great potential and more does than ever. Usually at this time of year, we only see a few Does and lesser bucks. Also, we still have hogs, but we are not overwelmed with them as usual. Friends with property north of us are having the worse hog problem in years, so it my just be that the local trapping around our place is having some effect. My three feeders are feeding at a heavy rate still, but again, the deer are only cleaning it up at night. Hogs are only visiting one of the three and mostly during the day. That will end soon. wink

We've had a tough year so far. Plenty of night pics but day time sightings have been limited.

Very little movement this year due to heavy Acorn crop. The feeders are not drawing as they normally do. We will try again next week but not to optimistic on the outcome.

Basicly no complaints seein a few but 80%+ less than i know was there, Historicly 10 years Thats seeing 30 different ones mostly small bucks over 3 weekends, and local bunches are gone down from 7-12 in each of 3 familys to 1 or 2 in each, And cant find 1 bone anywhere, Id think from what i hear that its lowest take in 30 years from same area. 40sq.miles. Bring out cynanide poppers, Waters there, ample browse, an coyotes. That snow was deep but not killer type even for quail just rough,

I got back tonight. Different story this time and note I am about the only one left hunting since November. I am the only hunting pressure left on my lease. Checked three game cameras on three feeders. Despite two of them being almost a mile apart, the dates and times of movement are identical. Evening of the 21st around 6 to 7 pm one had does, another hogs. No activity on all three feeders till the 23rd. Same thing early morning does on one and early morning hogs on the other. Nothing had visited my three feeders since other than lots of crows. All three had lots of corn under them. I did not see a Deer or a Hog one on this trip. Dove have completely moved out with the front. Confirmed the wood ducks are gone. Good news is my Cranes finally are showing. Several small groups flew over our wheat fields. A couple groups circled it several times and wanted to land. If I had my decoys out, I am sure they would have taken a close look. If I had been carrying shotgun instead of a rifle, I could easily have pass shot a couple today. I have about three dozen crane decoys and will go back soon for a dedicated attempt at the Cranes. I am probably going to write off the rest of regular and late deer season to focus on other hunting.

Headed that way in a little while. Gotta get off work, go home and shower then go. If it's brown, it's down.
