For me it is about 150 yards with standard core-loks and about 200 yards with Hornady Leverevolution ammo.

Thats with open sights or with scope? Sorry ak47 not trying to steal your post Either one, if you are proficient with your chosen sight. I would agree with 150 yards using regular ammunition. That's where you still have about 1000 ft/lbs of energy. I don't have any experience with the LeverRevolution.
