Ok so I have some wooden blocks, and you cant rig them with mono that would be sacrilegious!! So last year I rigged some with Avery string and it was just to junky. So I got some tared line from Cabelas, but it floats!! Who makes good line that sinks and is sorta stiff like the line we had when I was kid??

Man im 38 years old!! Been killing em since points and lead. Ron Reagan was the president when I started, and in his first term!!

I found some tar laced string at academy last year. I think it was ghg but I don't remember for sure. It worked great and didn't float. Never freyed or came untied

Just pups.
My first duck hunt was in the early days of the Nixon administration. Dropped a Suzie along an irrigation canal in the Rio Grande Valley just south of Albuquerque. Been hooked ever since.

I use regular old black tarred nylon trot line string on all my decoys. Use the smaller diameter.

I stopped market hunting ducks and pheasants 12/23/1984...the day the gamewardon and grandfather took away my cousins and I's 22... I became a reformed duck hunter 12/26/1984 when we all got mossberg 410 pumps...highly effective but limited range. Man im 38 years old!! Been killing em since points and lead.
