Looking to buy a handgun for my girlfriend. She really likes the m&p compact in 9mm. Just wanted to see if you guys had a review or another idea. Also she is left handed and wants something that is ambidextrous.

I eat what I kill, but I don't always kill what I eat.

I have a full size M&P 9mm with over 3000 rounds and a 45 with roughly 1000 rounds thru them with no problems what so ever. The M&P pistols just fit me better than a Glock. I would like to have a 9mm compact M&P.

I'm a big fan of the M&P. Mine had zero problems. Grip panels are a plus.

I've got the M&P .357sig and like it. Bought the .40 barrel, so I can shoot .40

Great gun.

M&P is a great one. Also look at the ruger sr9 and sr9c, it has an ambi safety and a little less money.
