one javalina

3 hogs (one big boy)

two does and a buck

plus:

about 200 doves and 12 quail.

0. Its about time I start filling the freezer though. I've seen plenty of deer just none that were a trophy to me. Now I will take a doe to fill the freezer. Its been a slow deer season in my area.

All I have shot is paper... Guided two hunters to two 8s and a spike!

2 bucks and probably 20 dove. Also arrowed a third buck but didn't recover.

I have had a great year, since Sept 1, I have only spent 1 weekend at the house, rest at the ranch....nothing better than setting on back deck watchn the sunset with a adult beverage....oh have not been able to kill anything but a couple bottles of crown....

Ton of dove, too many hogs to count with both bow and rifle and 1 goofy cull buck I have watched for 3 years on camera and he finally made a fatal mistake in Oct. Guided a number of hunters to good bucks but have not found one to float my boat yet. When Jan. rolls around there are some culls and does that better look out. Ive still got some arrow left.

Went to a friends HF Ranch this past weekend down on Live Oak County and my son was able to take 2-hogs 1-javi and a Cull Buck they wanted taken out. We had a blast!!

Been a good year us so far and still have plenty hunting left to do.

1 good cull 7pt, 10 piggies. Have let the others walk. Enjoyed a few sunrises and sunsets in the woods, life is good

We'll see if the bucks are running the does yet this weekend in the real SOUTH Texas and see what that brings.

Probably start chasing some quail in January.

I've shot a few does and pigs. Guided 3 hunters to their respective personal best bucks, all of which were management deer on my lease but great deer none the less.

Now the rest of the season is mine and I'm hunting big horns.

0 ....and that goes for all 5 of us on the lease. The deer in Nacogdoches are almost extinct.
