I take my father-in-law hunting once a year. He is 82 and man does he get excited. He went and bought all kinds of cloths. We will leave in the morning/Wed and come back wed night. Last year we got in the stand at 6:30 and by 8 he was ready to get out and come back to dallas. I will have a heater in the stand this year. Mom-in-law says he will not shut up about it, like a kid in a candy store but I love'em and you never know it could be his last. After I bring him back I will turn around and drive two hrs back/Red River to hunt for a few more days.

Thanks, Jigfish

I cherish the times I can spend in the stand with my Grandfather. He has just started hunting with us this year. He loves it.

As fun as it is for him, those are memories you will cherish years after he is gone.

I dated my wife for over six years before we got married and I hunted with her dad and uncles throughout that time. They've all since passed away, but I still have lots of great memories.
