It was slow in November and the 30 degrees at night with 70 degree heat doesn't help much. They seem to want to stay bedded down more and the Bucks are not chasing like I have seen in the past. This is around the 83 North IH35 Interchange area.

were hunting near the calahan ranch. Never been there before really excited part of it is hf but where ill be is low fence. my brother is taking me an my other bro. my lil brother gets to hunt is the hf so he can take a trophy. ill keep yall posted when we go

i hunted zapata co this weekend, still has not taken off.
I had a doe or two that sparked early but most have not come in to heat yet. The next two weeks should get good. Bucks are ready just need does to start! The full moon in dec usually is the trigger where i hunt.
This year has been unusually hot we need a good cold cloudy front
