Our son Wyatt requested and will hopefully get leave in June and we will get to see him a little when he is not shacked up with his girlfriend

I think he has 13 more months in Bahrain then he gets to come home

Wyatt and some friends were on the island grilling burgers, no pics of them.



My last post I stated Wyatt weighed 186lb. he actually weighs 196lb. now.

The picture of him in the White pants were his old clothes from almost 5 years ago when he was in Boot Camp, he was a little thinner then.

Short story long (as usual)

Originally Wyatt was going to Charleston, SC for 18 months for Nuclear Engineering training, halfway through boot camp he switched to Advanced Electronics.
When he came back stateside from Sasebo, Japan he went through a 3 month training on internet maintenance and that is what he is doing now in Bahrain.
He said that at his location in Bahrain, it is the backup for the military's internet service for Europe that is handled from a base in Italy.

That is a great picture of Blanks grand-daughter with the American flag by the A-10.

My son on the "ma duece" Kunsan Air Base SK.. Hopefully back to see us soon with more training at JBSA Lackland. :-)

After reading Stub's posts I noticed the one of my son is gone, so I'll post it again. This was a demo jump when he was stationed in Kodiak, AK (he's the one headed for the water).

The grand-daughters last couple weeks in uniform. Hard to believe it's been 6 years. She thought she was in trouble when the CO called her into a group meeting!!

My, how times change!! My sweet little grand-daughter has come full circle - now a veteran, college graduate, Mom to an amazing great grandson, and wife to a stand up LEO grand son-in-law!! But she's still my baby.

Blank that is awesome, big congrats to Averi, she is obviously one heck of a great gal
