I am headed Port A to visit my dad and was wondering if i need a special permit to hunt down there and where i could get a map of the hunting area. I have never hunted there before and would love to try it. Any info would be great

Mainly these. Some scaup. Back in the marshes you can get some a little more variety.

Its always a fun hunt out there, lots of birds

Check out the light house lakes area. This area is huge you will need a boat or kayak. I wen the beginning of the season their were tons of ducks. Give me a PM if you have any questions.
