I wanted to get a new scope for my .308 150gr. rifle
i like big scopes and i want one that would give a nice magnification
the max i would probably pay is 1300 or maybe 1500
any suggestions

Leupold Mark 4 or Night Force can be had in that price range. Both are excellent choices. If you decide to go with the Mark 4 message me. I can get them cheaper than most.

Nightforce 2.5-10x32 would be sweet another one to look at is the Trijicon accupoint I have a 2.5-10x56 on my XHR and I couldnt be any happier im thinking about slapping there 5-20 on my bolt gun and using that 2.5 on my AR-10 when it gets done.

I've got the 2.5-10x56 Trijicon amber dot on my Benelli R1, it's very nice! David

Nightforce all the way!! Look on snipers hide you can get them there all day for your price range!!
US Optics would be better thean nightforce and leupold you can get them for $1500ish used check out there website

If Doug at camerlandny.com still has some of the swaro ph 4x16x50 on sale for like 1k they are a steal as I paid 1799 for my first one, they have the new models out and Doug had some of ph's and they are a steal at that price. My .02

In that price range, Zeiss Victory Diavari 3-12x56, unless you want more magnification.
