Hi guys and gals, first post here, I can't make up my mind on either a glock 17c (or gen 4) or a px storm, I do own a xd 40 and I love it, I am not interest in any other guns but those 2 stated... I read a lot pro reviews on those two, but no cons, anyone got experance with those two?

Glock 17 without question. It is the benchmark combat handgun.

Agreed.

Beretta has been building guns since 1526 but only pistols since 1915. And the PX4 while interesting, does have issues, i know of a police department that issued the .40 model and had serious QC problems.

I think the Beretta would be a fine handgun, but I know the Glock would be.

Glock

They have earned the reputation that they have. I love mine, and wouldn't hesitate to buy another. Even after a few thousand rounds, it
functions flawlessly.

Id get the regular 17 not the 17c. You'll get a much better price on a 17 due to market flood, the compensation in a 9mm isn't munch, and the ports dirty up the front sight real bad. Just a suggestion. But out of the 2 id get a G17 all day.

Of those two, Glock easily.

Benchmark? Of the plastic guns maybe!

Well there is an glock RTF and a 4th gen. The forth gen has the RTF 3. RTF2 was put out befor the forth gen and i font like it at all. The rtf3 on the forth gen is much better but i still prefer the 3rd gen guns.

FWIW, I've owned both and much prefer the PX4 Storm personally. There's not a forum on the internet that won't tell you to "Just get a Glock!" so the question is kind of pointless. Go rent or buy both and see which you actually prefer.

Also I once heard of a police department that had QC issues with the Glock .40. wink

Yay Vernon! Oddly enough, yesterday I loaded and carried a Sig.

Back on topic. Glock.

Good choice!! I carry a Glock 19 all day every day, the glock 19 is the most popular carry piece there is. And its big enough for a combat gun, see a ton at pistol shoots as well. You will love it, get an IWB Ctac minataur and you will never feel it on.
