Dudleys is good for cajun. Posados is good for TexMex. Bodacious is good for BarBque. Jucys has great burgers and fries. Pietros has good Italian. Catfish King for - fried catfish. If Lydias Caribbean is still there - she make some pretty good Jamaican. Waffle Shoppes (not waffle house) has great breakfasts. There are the usuals - Texas Road House, Red Lobster, Buffalo Wild Wings, Carinos, etc.
Only at the end do you realize the power of the Dark Side.

Joe's Italian Grill on McCann Rd. Good food. Reasonable prices. May be closed on Mondays-can't remember.

A Hickory Burger from Butcher Shop on McCann or the burrito place on Gilmer Rd called Moes. Both are pretty good

The secret to those really good margaritas at Posado's -- a splash of Everclear. Makes everything else just yummy!!!

bodacious is amazing bbq but make the drive down into kilgore for the ribs at country tavern inn

When I was traveling in that area, I tried Leon's and thought it was pretty good. Decent music as well. Probably ate there about four times. Now my area is NE, MO, KS & OK.

Matsu's is great. Been eating there for years. If your out the might as well have some ribs at country tavern.

I havn't been to Longview in a very long time, but I wonder if anyone remembers a restaurant called Johnny Casey's? It was a great steak and seafood place. Anyone?

Mr. Cace was really good friends with my grandparents. It was a great place until he got too old to run it and passed on. Not nearly the place it used to be now that his son runs it. It is still not bad, and they have the best Oysters around.

My dad has been working there for the last few months and I went to visit and he took me to the Country Tavern. That is great food.

Country Tavern, is special. Sadly it is not as good as it used to be, but it is still pretty durn good.
