No I didn't get selected (#407). I'm just scoring them this year. We had quite a few guys out for the shoot today.
If anyone still needs to qualify, pm me or post a message here and we'll set something up.

Is Hagerman by drawing only? Are you qualified to give the archery safety course? I aleady have my hunter safety course. I've been wanting more info on this subject.
Hunting is more to me than Antlers on the wall. It's more about the memories you make, and sharing those memories with friends, and family.

I am not an IBEP instructor but the Dallas area Bowhunter Ed instructor group has scheduled one more Bowhunter Ed class for this year. It will be in Weatherford, Texas on July 21st and 22nd. Pre-registration is required. Class size is limited so please don't wait until the last minute to register. Call 214-358-0174 to register and mention Bowhunter Ed. This is the course required by 13 states and 3 Canadian provinces to bowhunt. Texas isn’t one of the states that requires Bowhunter Education but if you have an out of state trip planned then this is the course needed. After satisfactory completion of the course, Texas Parks and Wildlife Dept. will issue each student a certification card. The card is good for life and is accepted by every state and many foreign countries around the world. This course is offered by Texas Parks and Wildlife Department through the International Bowhunter Education Program and the National Bowhunter Education Foundation. The course covers conservation, responsibility, preparation, blood trailing, shot placement, treestand safety, archery equipment and much more. This is the last class they have planned for this year. If you know someone needing the class for an out of state hunt then please pass the word along. BTW, the course is now available on-line. If you take the on-line course, you still have to complete a six hour field portion of the class to receive a certification card. The field portion of the class for on-line students on July 22nd. Here’s a link to the on-line course. http://www.nbef.org/ When you call 214-358-0174 to register be sure to tell David that you will be doing the on-line course.

It wasn't that difficult to get my gun safety cert. Thanks for the info.
