Have some trouble with both my trophy cams. They will not take pics. Had them sitting on top of my feeder and watched many many many deer eatting, checked the card after and had nothing. WTF!! Anyone else had this problem? Guess it is time to send them back in, luck for me they are under one year. For that money, and I would have known this would be a problem, I would have gotten more wildgame IR4 (got two and love them).
I eat what I kill, but I don't always kill what I eat. Girlfriend Wife: "Why am I here?" Me: "So I do not have to open the gate!"

What kind of card are you using? The cheap offbrand cards do not work worth a durn in them. Try a Sandisk brand card that is what they are designed for. Also how many gig is your card. Unless thay are the newest models( last 60 days) they are designed for a 2GIG anything else won't format. I had the same problem put a 2 gig sandisk in them and they have worked perfect every since then.

I use a 2 gb sandisk. I have also used the off brads in them before and they worked great, but was thinking the same thing as you stated and tried that. Still got nothing. Kinda pissed.

A guy on our lease bought 2 of them and neither one worked. He took them back for a refund. Good luck with yours.

I have just the opposite problem! I have one that seems to take pic's or just about no reason!!! Every time I go pick it up it has about 1000 pic's on a 2gb card and there is maybe 2-3 pics of game if I'm lucky!! I know there isn't much game activity at my feeder now, as corn is piled up under it, but dang it!!! I think it is still under warranty and will be sending back if it is! I have another BTC with the viewer screen and it doesn't do this, it is much better, just pics of game! I guess they are hit or miss!!

Do you have tall grass or low hanging tree limbs close to the camera?

Run away picture taking is one of the many features of the Bushnell Trophy Cams as well a whiteout daytime pictures, no nightime pictures, will only work with one type of chip. The two I bought displayed all these features at one time or another.
