Prayers sent! Safety safety!!!! Use the same method as ranges do. If anybody is out front every body opens actions. Safety is no accident.

I get teased on this every year. First hunt with Treebass we are just finished setting up and I'm still figuring out how I'm goint to be seated to hunt. I've got my back turned from the stock tank when Treebass says, "we've got birds!" I don't move and my gun isn't loaded. He shoots and has given me H3!! ever since.

I didn't have my gun loaded because I was more concerned about getting situated and ensuring I got invited back.

Sorry to hear about this guy, and hope he's doing better. It is all the more reason to ensure the guns are unloaded while everyone is setting up.

I'm sure Treebass may spin this story differently, but my point is, it is for batter to be safe then to have to have an experience like this.

Shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden.
Experience is what you get, when you didn't get what you wanted.

MP hope he makes a quick recovery.

Everyone needs to be careful out there guys it can happen at anytime. Dad was involved in a deer hunting accident when he was 19 and has 1/4 of his ankle and a nice hole in his other leg. He and I both have a daily reminder of gun safety.

Prayers up for all these guys to make a speedy recovery
