Thank God for the rain and the freeze. Down in the 20's for tonight and friday. Had about 1/2 inch of rain today. I think the acorns in Jack County are fixin to sour. This should help to bring the deer back around the feeders and make them move around. Sat. should be a good day to be out.

Headed out to Barton in the morning, things seem to have picked up a little. Oldest boy had a nice 8 pt. at the feeder yesterday morning or the morning before, can't remember. We're just not seeing the number of does we normally do. Shot a coyote out on the prairie about 10am the other day with a 300 RUM, wow, what a devastating cartridge!!
