Looking for an elk hunt for 2 people in either CO or NM preferably on private land. Both hunters want the hunt to be guided or semi-guided. We are experienced north Texas hunters that would like to take a couple of nice bull elk. We want a rifle hunt. This will be for the 2011 season of course. I have never been on a guided hunt or used an outfitter for a hunt so we are very nervous about getting a legit outfit. We could use all the advice we can get! If you or someone you know has been on an elk hunt in CO or NM and was very pleased with their guide/outfitter please let me know. We want to make sure we use spend our time and money wisely.
