they havent rutted yet, at least not in southern comanche county. I think they were in pre-rut last weekend. I think they should start sometime in the next week or so.

Any Comanche County updates? Popped a young doe Thursday afternoon near sundown but that was the only thing I saw. Out today and nothing moving. Not even the young bucks. I'll be back out this afternoon but was just wondering if anybody's seeing any rut movement.
BTW, I'm hunting Northern Comanche Co..,

My family tells me they saw a good bit of movement Thanksgiving morning on our place near Duster and a bit of chasing. They were hunting all weekend, so I'll likely get some updates soon.

Well, I just got back in. The only thing I saw was a young 8 around sundown. Not chasing.
Look forward to hearing later reports from you guys.

Just got in from hunting in the Downing area. Saw one 8pt, a few does, from yesterday afternoon, and two does and one 4pt today/tonite. Rattled up one big 8 opening weekend. He was all swelled up and following a doe around. Thats the only sign of a rut I've seen. Although I didn't go the last two weekends due to unmediated circumstances. If anybody has a different view, I'd love to hear it.

The 8pt on opening weekend is the only thing that was acting like they was in the rut. Nothing since then.

I'm in the Downing are around the lake. They aren't doing anything where i'm at. Saw one small 8 this morning and one doe late this evening. Talked to several others that hunt the same general area, all say the same thing. NOTHING! Maybe you could send them our way.
