I am interested in buying a used tracker collar or something similar to this brand. I run in field trials and since it will not be used a lot, I do not want to break the bank on this purchase. If you might happen to have an older system that you are not using please send me a pm. I would really like a 2 dog system if possible. I know that the Garmin DC30 and DC40 are really great collars but the wife would never let me spend that amount of money and not literally be in the dog house. Dang it!
Thanks so much for the help!!

Save your money. I had a 2 dog Tracker, and it just fustrated me. Those things are hard to use. I went hunting one time with a guy who had the Garmin, went home, sold the like new Tracker, and bought a new Garmin Astro. I got $300 for the Tracker and felt guilty for taking the money.

try valley creek hunting supply they just about always have used telemetry systems, but used garmins are tougher. whatever you do stay away from a dc20 they are nothing but heartache

Thanks for the advice. I have been looking at them lately. I was just hoping to buy one from someone on the forum that is gently used. I missed out on a great deal and now I could kick myself about 20 times.

Bad timing!!! I sold my used Garmin with a DC20, and a DC30, for $300 last summer.

Go ahead and bite the bullet. I bought a new Garmin Astro, on 10/6, with my Master Card. It was my settlement date. I'll pay the charge off on 12/1.

Order it on your settlement date and you'll pay for it with your IRS return.
