I'm looking for a hunt around Lubbock. Never been and my grandad has a ton of them mounted just wanted to see what he saw. Thanks again for any help in trying to kindle a memory.

Lubbock is right in Texas pheasant country. Call the Chamber of Commerce in the nearby towns of Olton, Plainview, Tulia, Hart and Dimmitt etc..
If you live in Lubbock, you're a lucky guy, no long driving.

Most of the Lions Clubs put on a hunt of some sort. Cotton Center is one that I have been on but not sure how the hunts have been the last couple of years. Good luck to you.

Im not sure what the guys name is, but im going with my friend here in town. I know the place is just south of stratford around a little airport. The guy has great hospitality.

Anyone have any info about Public land up around Floydada? I've heard some good stuff, but want good info before I make the drive in the morning.

A good friend of mine owns 3000 acres just north of you in Tulia and guides pheasant and quail hunts off of it. I hunted there last weekend with him. His hunts are $500 for the weekend, lodging and breakfast included. I can send you his contact info, if your interested pm me.
