I grew up in Post and hunt there now. I never heard of anyone looking for a lease there. If I hear of anything I will post it here.

I know that this isn't your place and you aren't pushing it but $11.54 per acre in Garza County is ridiculous as is putting 3 guys on 520 acres in this country.

We hunt Dickens county where everyone says the big bucks are. 9 blinds went up around us this year. We hunt 3000 acres with 4 guns. 2 good bucks and 2 mature culls each year. We have alternated years for 7 years now who shoots what. We are looking for something in addition to this lease for next year. Too many hunters per acre. We are moving out. Looking for bigger acreage. It is getting crazy. This is not the hill country.

We hunt in that area and we hunt 12 guys on 18,000 acres.

Don't think we are gonna have any openings though.

In this part of the country it can be. The deer densities just aren't at the same level as most other areas in the state.
