 This was the cull bull for 1500.00, My cow was 750-800 lbs. 500.00 for the cow total price.

New Mexico I believe...check out the previous thread on here called New Mexico Elk Hunts for details I've only been to New Mexico once. But as I recall it had more then 1 town. So I was looking for an answer more specific then JUST New Mexico.

The hunt is not in any town, the ranch is in the Capitan Mountains.

The hunt is not in any town, the ranch is in the Capitan Mountains. OK. I'll be even MORE specific, since I'm assuming The Captain Mts. are somewhat large. When looking at a map, what is the nearest town to where I'd go to find The Hunting HDQ.?

It's got 6, Tatum, Lovington, Roswell, Hondo, Ruidoso and Capitans to the north.
Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

The closest town was Capitan.
You will have to check the other thread titled New mexico elk it has the outfitter contact info.
