So headed out again this morning before work, though at a differnt location than yesterday. Meet up with a buddy and walked in, where we wanted to hunt wasnt working too well with the wind and skinny water so we searched for a new spot.
Found on right before legal light and well as I was throwing out decoys a group of mallards work the 6 or so deeks that are already out there (with me in them mind you). It was foggy too.
None the less buddy shoots one out of the group and teal are right behind them and land right on the water and take off, no shot.
Birds were in and out and slim in numbers, we passed on a group of gaddies that kept circling and just wouldnt get close, we had them at 35-40 yards at one point but we were going to let them work in another pass and get closer but it wasnt to be.
Ended with these

The pretty ones of the group( sorry centex guys took out your boot lips)
