Any advice on how to keep them away?

If your dog is barking at the back door and your wife is yelling at the front door, who do you let in first? The dog of course. He'll shut up once you let him in.

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

Don't shoot them unless you're certain they are wild or have some sort of proof that they were a threat to you.

Remember a story a few years ago of a hunter in Parker County shooting a dog while hunting. Bad shot and the dog ran home. I can't remember exactly what happened, but I know the guy got some charges filed on him.

are they doing any damage? or is it just the fact that they are there that's bothering you? just because a dog passed by your feeder doesn't mean that a deer won't come in. I've run by hog dogs by and around feeders and had deer come in a half hour behind them. do they have anything on them like a collar that could identify them as belonging to someone? are they actually harassing livestock or wildlife or are they just in the area?

I have some magic beans if anyone is interested. No extra time hunting but they'll make you fart to the tune of Back In Black...

Had a friend years ago, that used to remove the pellets from a few 12 gauge shotgun shells, and load them with rock salt....he quit having any dog problem!

I think they are someones hog dogs that got away, two pits, and not sure what the other is. We have lots of pictures on trail cams.

If it is yours keep it in the yard or be prepared for bad things to happen. We are out in the boonies, and to get to our camp they are at a dead minimum 1/2 a mile into our property as the crow flies, they got no business there.

Get your county dog catcher involved. They can trap the dogs and will probably do it during the week and you do not have to worry about shooting them. Bottom line, is that it is not the dogs that are at fault, it is the owners that are at fault. Most of the time it is a people problem and not an animal problem.

If you don't have the conscience to turn em to fertilizer carry a Red Rider or some other mld attention getter and "tang their taters". Works for cattle, dogs, etc.

Okay, just shoot them and have them mounted in a semi snarl.
