Don't know about cameras but I just researched and purchased a rangefinder.

At the top end you have Leica and Swarovski. Big $$$$. I opted for one in the middle and went with a Leupold RX750. They're about $289 most places. I found mine in the Bargain Cave at Cabela's and was able to negotiate them down to $210.

So far I've ranged deer out to 317 yards and larger objects to 770 yards (a metal barn). I'm still learning all of it's functions and features but seems to be well built and pretty accurate.

The only issue I've noticed was when I ranged my feeder. The round barrel, painted dark camo and in bright sunlight didn't give much of a reflective surface for the laser. So I had to get the range off of the feeder motor box instead of the barrel (103 yards).

For the money wildgame ir4 cameras at academy are hardto beat. You can get them for around $80 i think. I also bought some off ebay for less than that. Wildgame IR4 is the way to go. I got 4. Also got 2 bushnell trophy cams that I have had for less than a year. Both have now been sent back to get fix. They cost $200+ each.
