I was just wondering if anyone on here has put an exhaust on a newer Siverado that has the fuel management system? What are your thoughts? I bought a new Z71 and want an exhaust but I am questioning how it will sound when it goes to 4 cylinders.

I would go with a Magnaflow slip on system, and i doubt you will hear any noise change since it is a seamless switch and typically only during cruising or coasting, not when under power which is when you really hear the exhaust.

It sucks. I just put a new muffler on, nothing else and every time it switches from 4 to 8 cylinders you can hear it and feel it. Very anoying. I ended up haveing a custom tune done on my ECM and took out the fuel management system. Runs like a scalded ape now.

I have Magnaflow on My Truck but not fuel management. Sounds great but it is still quiet for the most part. My last truck had the Gibson Side Exhaust and I refuse to have anything that loud again.
