Guys,
I am having no luck searching anything for free for deer leases for the 11-12 season. Ive come across several you must join for 30 bucks for 6 months to view the contact info of the lease posters. Can someone tell me which one of these is the best and if they are worth the investment? Thanks in advance!

Anyone use this site, there are a few leases on here I would like to talk to someone about but before paying I wanted to see if you guys think its ledgit.

DeerTexas dont let you look at the leases listed so how do you know if you wanna spend the money or not??

Anymore you guys think are good places to look, any free ones you all like?
Thanks

Never paid to find a good deer lease. I have found all my deer leases on Craigslist, Hunting Forum, paper, Chamber listings and word of mouth. Texas is already to expensive to Deer hunt for the average hunter.

$30 will not even get you a tank of gas, but could save a lot of wasted time.

Leasehunter.com is a pretty decent site. But this site and the TPWL free site will also have a lot of properties posted.

I have found a lease on deertexas before. They have a few listed now that you might be interested in. A broker named Bruce has one listed now. If you call him I bet he can find you something. He only lists on deertexas.com so you would have to join to get his contact info.

I would not post anything from their site to here, they are members here, and they will cancel your prescription and you don't get your money back, just letting you know.

I never saw this before posting a twin thread. I'll see if I can delete it. Later!

Edit: Too late to delete. I saw a quail lease on there that I liked. It's $12 a month or $30 for 6 months. I'm not sure that they have them all listed, or if they're still available. I would pay $12 for the contact information, but not if it's gone.

Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill

i subscribed to deer texas and it is pretty good. I have found that you get the best leases from word of mouth or from people you know. You just have to know the right person. My family wanted a small lease for years that was close to houston and never found one that was good on those subscription sites. My uncles run cows in the area we wanted to lease, and when we asked them, we found one right away since they knew many people in the area. Got a great price too.
