The rut is in full swing in East Texas. I went out to help a friend Saturday with some MLD permits (he has 33 deer to take). Between three of us we harvested six on Saturday. I got two doe’s and a monster mature cull buck with knarly horns. I would post pictures but all I had was my camera phone and for some reason I lost all data Saturday evening.
If you get a chance to get out soon, it’s time!

J/K sounds like great fun!!! Bow or Gun? I am assuming bow since we are in that section right? lol We may have to switch to a all out war, we have 23 more deer to take off the place before the end of Sept to get the Class three MLD next year.
