Hey RGC, Go with a gas op.gun. I have an old Rem. 1100 and it will only push me instead of hit me when fired.

Hey RGC, Go with a gas op.gun. I have an old Rem. 1100 and it will only push me instead of hit me when fired. When I get the money for the new gun it will be a MAXUS no if ands or buts about it. That is th egun I want it feels good when shouldered and from what I have seen and heard it shoots like a dream. I am not open minded on this subject for any other suggestions. I HAVE SHOT THE VINCI and did not like it. As far as cleaning hey it is what it is. SBE2 I could care less about. Hope this helps everyone understand. Now the original question was WHAT WOULD YOU BUY not me. I also explained my therie behind th ethe two choices.

Look into the SBE2. I have both that and a Maxus and prefer the Benelli much more. I shoot much better with the SBE2 and it's easier to clean than the Browning.

I bought a maxus. I think it's the best waterfowl shotgun on the market. I shoot the 26" with a Browning Grand Passage aftermarket modified choke. It patterns much better than the factory choke. I think it should be included with the gun. I am a ducks nightmare.

I bought a maxus....I am a ducks nightmare.  I don't even own one but I think this should be their new motto.
